Mole: A heartbreaking work of a staggering genius.
Ratty: I don’t fully understand why this movie has garnered so much acclaim. Haven’t we seen this story before? What worries me is that it’s been so well received because it humanizes the subject. It worries me because we need something like this to fully grasp that it’s an actual person up on that stage or on that screen that’s entertaining us. Why do we keep needing to be reminded that people stop being people when they get famous?
