Mole: Weiner is a documentary like no other I have seen. While on the surface it appears to chronicle Anthony Weiner’s run for NYC mayor a few years ago, it’s really a study of a talented but reckless politician and his guarded and ultimately mysterious wife. That Weiner would allow a documentary crew such unlimited access to his scandal ridden life just speaks to his bad judgment—and his narcissism. It is sometimes thrilling to watch and other times darkly funny, but it is consistently fascinating.
Ratty: You don’t get to see his dink. I’m pretty sure most people would assume you would but you don’t and I think that was a terrible decision. The whole movie you’re like, “When are they going to show his dink?”Apart from that it was pretty good.
